Arnavutköy is one of the most charming villages on the European shore: rows of painted wooden houses and yalı mansions right on the Bosphorus, fish restaurants by the pier and steep lanes climbing into the hills. Currents are strong at Akıntıburnu, where the strait narrows and bends. Visitors here mostly stay in private homes, rented villas or with family, often for weeks at a time.

The single shore road can be slow on summer weekends, so the nurse needs 50 to 70 minutes after approval.
