The neighbourhood
How does a visit in Kuruçeşme work?
Long summer nights on the water, a boat back at dawn, a slow start the next day. The nurse comes to your home, suite or deck.
Kuruçeşme is the short stretch of shore between Ortaköy and Arnavutköy where the Bosphorus nightlife lives. Waterfront clubs and restaurants sit right on the edge of the strait, tiny Galatasaray Island lies just offshore with its own summer venues reached by boat, and private yachts drop anchor in front of the shore on warm evenings. Above the road, older apartment buildings and houses climb towards Ulus and Etiler.
The morning after a night that ended on a launch from the island or at a table by the water, you can book from late morning onwards. Many guests are staying with friends in a flat on the hill or on a boat off the shore, rather than in a hotel. The shore road has almost no place to stop, so send a pin of the exact gate or the pier where the tender will collect the nurse. We do not give a drip to someone who is heavily intoxicated or confused. If you suspect alcohol poisoning, or someone is confused, vomiting while drowsy or hard to wake, call 112 and stay with them.

Questions
What do guests ask about Kuruçeşme?
We came back from Galatasaray Island at sunrise. When can we book?
You can write straight away, and the doctor reviews each person’s questionnaire. We do not give a drip to anyone who is heavily intoxicated or confused, or who cannot consent. If you suspect alcohol poisoning, or someone is confused, vomiting while drowsy or hard to wake, call 112 and stay with them.
Can the nurse come to a yacht anchored off Kuruçeşme?
Yes. Tell us the boat name and who will bring the nurse out by tender. We agree the pick-up pier and timing with the captain first.
How long does a nurse take to reach Kuruçeşme?
Usually 45–70 minutes after doctor approval. On summer evenings the shore road between Ortaköy and Arnavutköy moves slowly, so the upper end is more likely.
