Private IV drips for groups and events in Istanbul: a guide for planners
Updated Medically reviewed by: [Responsible doctor — name to be added]7 min read

Short answer
Yes, a group can have private IV drips in Istanbul at a wedding, villa, yacht or company offsite, but each guest is screened alone: everyone fills in their own health questionnaire, a doctor reviews it, and a licensed nurse watches every drip. The planner shares only numbers, place and time. Drips happen in a quiet room, never at the party.
If you plan weddings, private celebrations or company offsites in Istanbul, sooner or later someone asks whether a nurse could come and set up IV drips for the group. It can be done well, but only if it is planned around the guests rather than the event. This guide is written for the planner, the host or the executive assistant: how Bosphorus Drip works with groups, what we need from you, and the few rules we never bend, however large or important the occasion.
Can a whole group be approved at once?
No. There is no such thing as a group approval: every guest is reviewed on their own. Each guest who would like a drip receives their own short health questionnaire and answers it privately, on their own phone. The doctor reviews every questionnaire separately, may adjust the formula for one person and may decline another. Nobody else, including the host, the planner or the employer, sees the answers.
In practice this means you send us a number and a time, not a list of medical details. We send each guest a link, and the guest deals with us directly. If someone is declined, they are told privately and pay nothing. You do not need to know why, and we will not tell you.
How many nurses come, and what room do they need?
We plan the number of nurses around the number of guests and the time window you have, so that every infusion is supervised from start to finish. A nurse does not leave one guest to start another across the room. For a larger group, that may mean several nurses arriving together, or guests booked in short waves over a morning.
What we ask from you is a quiet, private space set aside for the drips: a suite, a spare bedroom at the villa, a cabin below deck or a small meeting room. It should have comfortable chairs or beds, good light and a door that closes. We do not set up at the party itself, on the dance floor, beside the bar or in the middle of a team session. Guests come to the room, have their drip in peace and return when they are ready.
When is the best time for group drips?
Usually the morning after an event, or well before it. Most drips take 45 to 60 minutes, plus a few minutes before for checks and after for the dressing. NAD+ is different and takes two to four hours, so it is rarely practical inside an event schedule. These are the windows that usually work best:
- The morning after: a late brunch after a wedding or a party, when guests want fluids and rest before a flight home.
- Before a gala or ceremony: ideally a day or two before, or early in the morning, never squeezed between hair, make-up and photographs.
- During an offsite day: a quiet hour between sessions or after arrival from long flights, for those who choose it.
- Between midnight and 07:00, a night supplement of €60 applies, so a calm morning slot is often the better plan.
How does it work at weddings, in villas and on yachts?
The principle is the same everywhere: one quiet room, a start time and each guest booking privately. For wedding weekends we have written a separate recovery plan for the couple and guests, so here only the planning side. Agree one room in the hotel or villa for the morning after, share the approximate number of guests and the best start time, and let each guest book their own place through the questionnaire.
Villas along the Bosphorus, in areas such as Bebek, Kuruçeşme or further north in Tarabya, are often the easiest settings: plenty of rooms, a household that can keep one bedroom free, and no lobby to cross. Tell us which entrance to use and who will meet the nurses.
On a yacht, everything is coordinated with the captain: where the nurses board, when the boat is at anchor or moored, and which cabin or covered deck area is used. Drips are given only while the boat is moored or at anchor and stable, and never in rough water. Our article on IV drips on a Bosphorus yacht covers the details.
Can a company offer drips at an offsite?
Yes, as long as it is voluntary and private. Companies sometimes want to offer drips as part of a wellness day, after a long-haul arrival or alongside a conference at a hotel near Levent. We are happy to help, on three conditions that protect your staff.
- It is fully voluntary. A drip is a medical procedure, not a team activity. Nobody should feel expected to take part, and there must be no list of who did and who did not.
- Health information stays with the guest and the doctor. The employer receives no questionnaires, no reasons for a decline and no names of who was approved.
- No drips during or right after a reception with alcohol. If the evening is a party, the offer belongs to the next morning.
What we never do at events
A few things are simply not on offer, however the request is phrased. We do not give a drip to anyone who is drunk, very sleepy or unable to make a clear decision; the nurse will decline on the spot, even if the doctor approved the questionnaire earlier. A guest who is heavily intoxicated, very drowsy or confused needs urgent medical care, not a drip and not just sleep: call 112. We do not run drips as entertainment or as a photo moment. And if a guest feels truly unwell, with chest pain, breathing trouble, fainting or confusion, the right call is 112 and a hospital, and the nurse will help arrange that rather than start a drip.
How much do group drips cost, and how do you get a proposal?
Per person, at menu prices; larger events get a written proposal. For a few guests, pricing is simple: each person pays the price of their chosen drip from the menu, for example €320 for Hangover Rescue, with the visit included anywhere in Istanbul. Payment is by card or cash on the day.
For larger groups, multi-day events or a nurse team on call across a weekend, we prepare a written proposal on request. Send us on WhatsApp the dates, the location, the approximate number of guests and the time windows you have in mind. To see how a single visit runs, from arrival to the last dressing, read how a visit works.

Questions
Can I fill in the health questionnaire for all my guests?
No. Each guest answers their own questionnaire privately, and the doctor reviews each one separately. You only share the number of guests, the place and the time.
Will I be told if a guest is declined?
Only that their booking will not go ahead, if they choose to tell you. The reason stays between the guest and the doctor, and a declined guest pays nothing.
Can the drips take place during the party?
No. We use a quiet, private room away from the event, and we do not give drips to anyone who has been drinking heavily. The morning after is usually the better time.
Do you work on yachts and in villas outside the centre?
Yes, anywhere in Istanbul, with the visit included in the price. On a yacht the timing and boarding are agreed with the captain. You can browse the areas we cover.
How is a group or event priced?
Prices are per person from the menu. For larger groups and events we prepare a proposal based on dates, place and the number of nurses needed.
This article is general information, not medical advice. A doctor reviews every booking. In an emergency, call 112.
